Heaviest & most stable stand alone pull up bar, support straps included, compact design is ideal for low ceilings, excellent customer satisfaction.
Short towers are not ideal for everyone, also the indent curved design on the pull up bar is not great for narrow grip pull ups.
This is a very solid power tower; the only one sturdy enough for TRX suspension training. Ideal if you've got a relatively low ceiling, it's averagely priced but what you get is far above average quality.
The Bowflex BodyTower is without doubt one of the most stable free standing pull up bars you can buy. If you contrast images of the Bowflex to other stand alone bars you see the difference in design and positioning of the bar; directly above the center of the legs and center of gravity of the tower, combine this solid design with the extra heavy weight advantage it has over the other towers (weighing in at 114 pounds) and it's easy to see why it's the most stable tower and the only one recommended for use with TRX Suspension training.
All support straps shown in the photos come included as does the exercise placard. The owners manual (in addition to the assembly manual) shows the full range of 18 exercises you can use the Bowflex BodyTower for.
While the curvature design of the pull up bar is great for wide grip pull up exercises it's not as easy to use with a narrow grip.
The support straps are ideal for performing vertical leg raises and the adjustable dip bars mean you perform your triceps dip exercises at just the perfect height.
The Bowflex is a relatively short tower, which depending on what you want can be either good or bad, it's 70" height may not be great for you if you're very tall, but is ideal for those looking for something to fit in rooms with a low ceiling.
