Heel padding, great for sliding but won’t slip during lunges
Little extra underfoot cushioning they run a size smaller than normal shoes and only come in black
An all-round great Zumba shoe, so long as your feet are strong enough for split soles and you’re happy with a black design.
They have less cushioning that the DS11, making them a little less bulky but still retain a padded Achilles notch to stop rubbing on the back of your foot. They’re perforated for ventilation helping your feet to still breathe during your workout.
With great flexibility, you can certainly point and shape your feet in class. Some people find the laces are a little too long; however you can always tuck them in if you prefer.
The Capezio DS24 come in half sizes, though as many Zumba shoes featured here, they are foremost dance shoes and the general principal of small sizing also applies to the DS24, so you’ll want to make sure you order one size larger than your regular shoes.
The sole is made from suede and synthetic material, split in the middle with a mesh arch support. As with other split soled dance shoes, if you haven’t been able to develop your foot strength you may find you develop an ache in the arches of your feet towards the end of class, if you think that might be a problem for you, here are the Zumba shoes with full soles
The sole is slick enough you’ll be able to pivot, twist and glide all you want in class, but they’re also non slip so you won’t need to worry about falling during a lunge.
As far as color design goes; they come in any color you like….so long as it’s black :-)
All round a great shoe for Zumba class.
