The Ultimate Body Press Wall Mounted Pull Up Bar will fix to either an internal or external wall. The fixing brackets are spaced 16" (40.6cm) apart so will fix to stud partitions in dry walls.
The bolts supplied are intended for wooden studs, be careful not to over tighten as they can sheer quite easily. You will need to buy some additional bolts if you want to mount this on a concrete / brick wall (such as Wej-It Sleeve-TITE HSA Sleeve Anchors). The bar itself is very sturdy and is rated to support up to 300lbs (136kg) of user weight.
This is one of the most popular wall mounted bars on the market. It has 3 grip positions allowing you to use narrow, neutral and wide grip to work your arms, inner and out back muscles and the 38 inch width of the bar really allows you to get a nice wide grip. As the bar is only 12 inches from the wall you can't use this for swinging pull ups / kipping but it works perfectly for classic straight up and down form.
In order to find the studs in your wall easily you may also want to pick up a stud finder, which will accurately detect the position of the studs behind your dry wall.
